SALES ORDER PROCESSOR
Alpha Adhesives & Sealants Ltd is a busy manufacturer, supplying customers worldwide, based in Stourport on Severn. We have a vacancy for a full time Sales Order Processor. Daily responsibilities include answering the telephone, entering sales orders onto the system, processing orders, liaising with production & sales staff, customer services, office administration and filing, raising invoices and updating schedules. As well as this you will host visitors and introduce them to the staff they are visiting.
You must be very well organised and able to work on your own, have excellent communication skills and telephone manner, be able to work under pressure and work to deadlines. A knowledge and experience of Sage software would be an advantage. A willingness to learn and be part of a team is a must. This is a very important position within the company. A full training programme will be given.

This is an exciting new position within the company to support and develop new business opportunities with Field Sales within the UK.
This will involve working with existing and potential customers to develop the relationship and sales potential to meet business growth targets.
On a daily basis you will make numerous phone calls to maintain and develop customer relationships. Work with customers to understand their business needs and find solutions with field sales. Make initial contact with potential customers and arrange appointments for Field Sales as well as progress chase trials and quotations in liaison with Field Sales.
You will also process new email and telephone enquiries and record them on the data base
This role will suit someone who can work off their own initiative as well as within a team. You must be highly motivated, be eager to learn, have a strict attention to detail, be very well organised, deal with documentation efficiently and methodically, be experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel and have a confident well-spoken telephone manner.
This is a position with the opportunity to progress and develop within the Sales team.
