Founded in 1987, Alpha Adhesives & Sealants is a family-run manufacturer of high-performance adhesive solutions.
A key milestone in our journey came in 2004 with the acquisition of DUNLOP’s Industrial Adhesives Division and the Thixofix brand, which strengthened our expertise and expanded our product range.
Our growth has been shaped by technical knowledge, sustained investment and an unwavering commitment to quality. With over four decades of manufacturing experience, we continue to invest in advanced technology and automation to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions our customers can trust.

Who we are
Alpha Adhesives have over 30 years experience of formulating and manufacturing a wide range of adhesives and sealants for every industry you could imagine.
From our UK manufacturing plant, Alpha Adhesives export adhesives and sealants worldwide.
Products include the well-known Thixofix brand, as well as solvent-based adhesives, structural and engineering adhesives, water-based adhesives, MS polymer & hybrid products alongside sealants, thinners and cleaners.
Technology in Automation
By investing in the latest technology we are able to automate our most intensive operations. This allows for increased capacity and consistent quality across a whole range of our cartridge based products to include silicones, MS and Polyurethanes. Flexible fill capacities range from 75ml to 380ml.

Thixofix
In 2004, Alpha purchased the Industrial Adhesives Division of Dunlop and has since manufactured this well known and established product range to include Thixofix, S1358, S5001 and so on. Dunlop’s history dates back to the early 1900’s and Alpha is proud to have been able to incorporate Dunlop products into the existing Alpha brand name.
